Calinciuc Silvestru Iulian, an assistant to the scientific research project PNRR concerning the electoral digital campaign, disinformation, and the democratic process related to access to voting for individuals with disabilities, and a third-year PhD candidate at FSPAC – Babeș-Bolyai University, supervised by Professor University Doctor Habilitation Ioan Hosu, the coordinator of the conference organization, participated in the International Students Conference on Communication (ISCC) Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Theoretical Perspectives and Practical Applications, 14th Edition, held in Cluj-Napoca on 20-21 May 2026. The conference aimed to showcase the most pertinent research contributions presented by PhD candidates at the annual event.

During the conference, he delivered a presentation on recent “Artificial Intelligences on Reasonable Accommodation in Deaf Education” emphasizing the use of ChatGPT and similar software to enhance learning and comprehension.
