Today, 25 September 2026, Gabriela Florescu successfully defended her PhD thesis at the Doctoral School of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising, FSPAC, Babeș-Bolyai University.
Her doctoral thesis, “Comportamentul informațional al studenților și reconfigurarea rolului bibliotecilor universitare în societatea informațională” (Students’ Information Behaviour and the Reconfiguration of the Role of University Libraries in the Information Society), addresses the changing information practices of students and the evolving role of university libraries in the contemporary information environment.
