The paper of Damaris DOLHA – Ph.D. candidate supervised by Prof. Robert Buchmann at the Doctoral School of Economics and Business Administration – received the Best Paper Award at the 24th Business Informatics Research (BIR 2025) in Riga, Latvia.

The paper was presented in the main conference track (subject to 28% acceptance rate and published by Springer: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-032-04375-7). It is part of the 1st year of doctoral work of Damaris Dolha on the integration of AI with Business Process Management, and reports comparisons of performance between two conversational agents interpreting serialized content from business process diagrams. The work employs public OpenAI services as well as business process modeling tools available through the OMILAB laboratory hosted by FSEGA (https://econ.ubbcluj.ro/omilab/index.php).

BIR is one of the traditional European conferences on Business Informatics and was organized this year by Riga Technical University during 17-19 September 2025.
