On September 30, 2026, the Doctoral School of Administration and Public Policy at the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences (FSPAC), Babeș-Bolyai University, hosted the PhD Students Workshop, held as part of the Transylvanian International Conference in Public Administration (TICPA 2026).
The workshop provided doctoral students with the opportunity to present the research they have carried out over the past year and to discuss their progress in an academic setting. Beyond the PhD students of the Doctoral School, the event welcomed doctoral researchers from Bucharest and Iași, broadening the discussion and enabling a valuable exchange of research experience between doctoral communities from different academic centres in Romania.
A highlight of the workshop was the participation of Professor David Ferraz, who offered questions and feedback on each presentation, bringing an international perspective to the students’ work. David Ferraz is Associate Professor at ISCTE, University Institute of Lisbon (Portugal), in the Department of Political Science and Public Policy.
