PhD students of the Doctoral School of Administration and Public Policy, Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences (FSPAC), Babeș-Bolyai University, were part of the organizing team of the Transylvanian International Conference in Public Administration (TICPA 2026), which brought together 200 researchers in Public Administration in Cluj-Napoca.

Working alongside the faculty members of the Department, the doctoral students gained valuable hands-on experience in organizing a major international academic event, contributing to its preparation and smooth running over the four days of the conference.

At the same time, the conference offered them the opportunity to engage in discussions with distinguished researchers in the field, whose work many of them read and cite in their own research. These exchanges provided new inspiration for their doctoral theses and future academic articles.

By combining organizational responsibility with direct academic dialogue, TICPA 2026 opened new academic opportunities for the PhD students of the Doctoral School of Administration and Public Policy.
