A group of PhD students from the Doctoral School Communication, PR & Advertising participated this year at the International Graduate Conference in Communication organized by the Doctoral School of the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA) in Bucharest. This annual event brings together all PhD schools in communication science from Romania. During the meeting, PhD candidates from the host university, SNSPA, University of Bucharest, Babes-Bolyai University (UBB), West University of Timișoara, and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University Iasi discussed their doctoral research. In premier, this year also a methodology workshop was organized. Our PhD school was represented by the PhD candidates Brîndușa Maria Cergă, Alfred Fellner, Adrian Gog, Eduard Claudiu Gross, Denisa Lăcătuș, Reka Nagy, and Sonia Maloș. This group was accompanied also by our postdoctoral researcher Dr. Larisa Mureșan. The research topics presented by the UBB participants were all are timely and encompassed communication and religion, efficient tools to tackle disinformation, adolescents’ social media usage, strategic communication in sports.
