PhD candidate Paula Ratiu participated in the EDEN Digital Learning Europe Annual Conference 2026, held in Porto, Portugal, between 14–16 June 2026.
During the conference, Paula presented her research paper titled “It’s Over. You Cannot Beat AI”: Educator Framing of Student AI Use in Online Teaching Communities”. The study explores how educators discuss and interpret students’ use of artificial intelligence within online teaching communities, shedding light on emerging attitudes, concerns, and pedagogical responses to AI technologies in education.
The EDEN Annual Conference brings together researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond to discuss current developments and innovations in digital learning. Paula’s participation provided an opportunity to disseminate her doctoral research to an international audience and engage in scholarly discussions on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in education.
