PhD students from the Doctoral School of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising within the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University, participated alongside Prof. Dr. Delia Cristina Balaban in the International Graduate Conference hosted by the University of Bucharest on May 7–8, 2026.
The FSPSC UBB doctoral representatives included Laura Boia, Paula Ratiu, Diana Cornea, Septimiu Madas, Krisztina Sebestyen, Janka Mozes, Eugen Potra, Mihai Marcovici, Angelica Teocan, Silvestru-Iulian Calinciuc, and Tudor-Mihai Cosma. The conference brought together doctoral researchers and academics from the University of Bucharest, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University Iasi, Universitatea de Vest Timisoara, Babes-Bolyai University and SNSPA Bucharest creating an important framework for scholarly dialogue, interdisciplinary exchange, and the presentation of ongoing research in the field of communication sciences.
The event was hosted by the Doctoral School of Communication Sciences of the University of Bucharest under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Camelia Cmeciu, Director of the doctoral school. The conference provided participants with the opportunity to engage with current research directions, receive academic feedback, and strengthen institutional collaborations between doctoral schools in Romania.
The participation of the FSPSC UBB doctoral students reflects the continuing international and national academic involvement of the Doctoral School of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising and its commitment to supporting excellence in doctoral research.
