Dear students,
Babeș-Bolyai University is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed doctoral student to become a Career Ambassador within the EUTOPIA University Alliance, an alliance which brings together ten regionally and nationally distinct European universities with the goal of establishing an interconnected confederation of open and multicultural campuses. This is an opportunity to make valuable international connections and attend activities hosted in EU member states. All costs relating to travel expenses while attending activities are covered by UBB either from the EUTOPIA grant budget or from other sources.
The duties of a Career Ambassador involve:
- Information gathering: You will be responsible for collecting information on academic and professional development opportunities available at Babeș-Bolyai University.
- Communicating information: You will attend online and in-person meetings with the other ambassadors in the EUTOPIA Alliance to disseminate relevant information to the other universities in the alliance.
- Collecting information on opportunities available from other universities: You will collaborate with your fellow ambassadors to collect information on academic and career opportunities offered by other EUTOPIA member universities.
- Information distribution: You will see to it that information on opportunities under the EUTOPIA alliance is effectively disseminated within the Babeș-Bolyai University community.
Eligibility requirements:
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with fellow EUTOPIA Alliance ambassadors;
- Availability to attend annual face-to-face meetings of EUTOPIA Ambassadors, which may involve travel abroad;
- Flexibility to attend regular online meetings with fellow ambassadors.
