Codruț-Răzvan Costinaș, PhD student within the Doctoral School of Physics, was selected for a mobility fellowship within the EUTOPIA_HEALTH programme, funded by the European university alliance EUTOPIA. Over a five-month period, from June to November 2025, Codruț carried out research activities at the University of Ca’ Foscari in Venice, Italy, under the supervision of Prof. Flavio Rizzolio. The stay, conducted within the framework of his doctoral thesis coordinated by Prof. Lucian Baia, focused on the study of nanomaterial integration into lipid nanoparticle systems for cancer treatment applications, consolidating his background in materials science within an interdisciplinary research environment.

This experience had a significant impact both scientifically and personally. Working within a group composed largely of biologists, Codruț had the opportunity to develop his interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Beyond acquiring new knowledge and experimental techniques, the stay also provided the chance to build professional relationships that may evolve into future collaborations, making it an important step in establishing a professional network at an early stage of his career.
