Aliz Blonde-Vajas, a PhD student in our department and lecturer in watchmaking, recently participated in the 2026 edition of the INTED International Conference, held from March 2–4 in Valencia, Spain. As part of the conference’s poster session, Aliz presented her research titled “Understanding Student Engagement in AI Learning Platforms.” Her work explores design solutions for artificial intelligence-based learning environments, with a particular focus on how these platforms influence student motivation, engagement, and overall learning experience. The INTED Conference is a well-established international forum that brings together researchers, educators, and professionals working at the intersection of technology, education, and development. Participation in such a prominent event highlights both the relevance of Aliz’s research and the department’s ongoing contribution to advancing educational innovation.
