Alexandra Feraru, Emma Bobu and Codrut Costinas, PhD students from the Doctoral School of Physics, were selected for a fellowship from DPG and Wilhelm Else Heraeus Foundation to participate in the prestigious International Conference “DPG Spring Meeting (DPG-Frühjahrstagung) of the Condensed Matter Section (SKM)”.
The conference took place in Regensburg, Germany during 16-21 March 2025, where they presented their recent works. Alexandra and Codruț contributed with posters entitled “The effect of spherical nanoceria on the anionic polysaccharides and in vitro behavior as a wound dressing and Highly oxidized Graphene Oxide as a Drug Delivery platform: Functional Group Interactions and Controlled Release Mechanisms”, respectively. They both are coordinated by Prof. dr. habil Lucian Baia, while Emma presented a talk with the title: “What makes a polysaccharide biomaterial a good candidate for tissue engineering applications?”, coordinated by Prof. dr. habil Monica Baia.
