Are you a student at Babeș-Bolyai University currently engrossed in an exciting research project and eager to share it with a diverse and global audience? The stage is set for your research at the EUTOPIA Impact School in autumn 2023!
The EUTOPIA Impact School is open to 10 PhD students and postdocs from all EUTOPIA partner universities, and we are pleased to announce that Babeș-Bolyai University can nominate one participant. This unique international program offers an exclusive online continuing education experience focused on the art of science communication.
The Impact School 2023, organized by the Graduate Academy of TU Dresden, is dedicated to the topic of „Science Communication and Science Slam“. During a three-day online workshop, led by science communication and science slam expert Dr. Julia Offe and science journalist Armin Himmelrath, you will work specifically on your own scientific texts and train storytelling and presentation techniques.
The online workshop sessions are scheduled for November 13th, 20th, and 27th, and will be conducted entirely in English to ensure a global reach. At the conclusion of the Impact School, you will have the opportunity to showcase your work through a short video pitch, which will be featured on the websites of EUTOPIA and TU Dresden. This is your chance to give your research an international audience.
