The Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences Doctoral School o Communication, Public Relations, and Advertising proudly announces that on July 13th, 2023, the PhD candidate Iulia Medveschi defended her thesis coordinated by Prof.dr. habil. Sandu Frunză. The thesis deals with the topic of political branding and analyses how political values are reflected in the speeches of Romania’s prime ministers over the last three decades. Hence, the doctoral candidate delivered a relevant synthesis of how political ideologies have penetrated the Romanian political scene and how they have or have not been reflected in the investiture speeches of Romania’s prime ministers. In Iulia Medveschis’ work we encounter an analyses of the speeches of prime ministers from different political corners representing different parties and some of them independent prime ministers. The work is a relevant contribution to the history of political communication.
