Doctoral students representatives from the Universitaria Consortium appeal to the Minister of Education to raise the doctoral scholarship to at least 500 euro per month. The statement released by the students notes that doctoral scholarship holders cannot work off-campus for additional income alongside their doctoral studies since “part-time work would detract from their research objectives and would prevent them from developing effective research skills”.
