Professors Dacian C. Dragos and Bogdana Neamtu (Center for Good Governance Studies) are part of the Sustainability and Procurement in International, European, and National Systems (SAPIENS), which have been awarded a Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network (ITN) grant of €3.9 million. SAPIENS combines 10 universities from eight countries led by the University of Turin and non-academic partners in seven countries.

The aim of the Innovative Training Network (ITN) is to train a new generation of creative, entrepreneurial and innovative early-stage researchers, able to face current and future challenges and to convert knowledge and ideas into products and services for economic and social benefit.

The Horizon 2020-funding is an important achievement for the Center for Good Governance Studies, the Doctoral School of Law and the Doctoral School of Administrative Sciences at the Babes-Bolyai University as it is one of the few such programs in social sciences that got financing in the history of Marie Curie Grants.

2 international Ph.D. fully-funded scholarships will be awarded under the program for conducting research in Cluj-Napoca for the next 3 years. Recruitment starts on March 1st

Dacian Dragoș talks about the SAPIENS project in a short video that can be watched here: https://sapiensnetwork.eu/research/early-stage-researcher-projects/industry-4-for-sp/.
