We are delighted to share that Radu LĂPUȘAN, PhD student at the Doctoral School of Physics, Faculty of Physics, is first author of an article recently published in Journal of Materials Chemistry B (Royal Society of Chemistry). His work was also chosen for the front cover of Volume 13, Issue 38 (14 October 2025).

The study, “From Fundamentals to Applications: Magnetic Nanoparticles for MRI Imaging and NIR-Induced Thermal Activation in Tissue-Mimicking Environments”, demonstrates how magnetic nanoparticles can bridge imaging and therapy, opening pathways for advanced biomedical applications.

This recognition highlights both the scientific significance and the creative dimension of the project. Congratulations to Radu, his co-authors and doctoral coordinator Assoc. Prof. Monica Focsan on this outstanding achievement!
