Between 9-12 September, Anca MOLDOVAN – Ph.D. candidate supervised by Prof. Robert Buchmann at the Doctoral School of Economics and Business Administration – participated at the CBI-EDOC 2025 event (the joint 27th International Conference on Business Informatics/29th International Conference on Enterprise Design, Operations and Computing) in Lisbon.

She presented her preliminary results and doctoral vision and received the Best Doctoral Consortium paper award of the event. The doctoral paper will be published in the Springer post-proceedings volume, and is extended into a full research paper to be presented later this year at the Enterprise Modeling conference in Geneva (POEM 2025: https://poem2025.unige.ch/home)

Her PhD work presentation was based on her industry experience as a Design Thinking facilitator, for which she is developing a Knowledge Management framework and process management tooling, to be developed at the OMiLAB @ FSEGA Research Group (https://econ.ubbcluj.ro/omilab/index.php).

CBI-EDOC is a joint event merging together two traditional Business Informatics conferences that have been ranked as B-class conferences in major international rankings, with proceedings published by IEEE CS and Springer.
