Alexandru Holca, a second-year PhD student from the Doctoral School of Physics, recently participated in the prestigious 22nd International Conference on Photoacoustic and Photothermal Phenomena, during 8-12 July 2024. He presented his recently obtained results on the synthesis of the gold nanorods as new thermoplasmonic nanogenerators in the second Near-Infrared optical window, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Monica Focșan.
