The Doctoral School of Engineering organised the workshop “Innovative Lightweight Metastructures: from Conceptual Models to Damage-Resistant Applications” on 15 February 2024, room A2.2, at 5 pm.
Professor Ivana KOVAČIĆ, from the University of Novi Sad, lectured “On the concept of metastructures: models and potential benefits in the field of mechanical vibration” and Professor Gilbert-Rainer GILLICH, from Babeș-Bolyai University, lectured “On the use of AI in the detection of cracks in advanced materials”.
The event was open to anyone interested in the topic: academics, industry representatives, and undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students.
