The LEAP Postgraduate Conference was opened on 13th of May, by a Keynote
Speech and Q&A session with Professor Iulia Motoc, Ph.D. lawyer and international law expert,
currently a Judge at the European Court of Human Rights and a professor at the University of
Bucharest (Romania).

The online conference took place via the Webex platform on May 13-14, 2021. All
interested postgraduate students had to send an MS Word (.doc, .docx) file including the title of
their research, an abstract of no more than 400 words or a poster names and affiliations of the
authors to the following email: ces@snspa.ro. The language of the event is English.

Selected contributions could be developed into academic articles and were considered to be published in a
Special Issue of the academic journal Europolity – Continuity and Change in European
Governance – biannual peer reviewed open access international academic journal published under
the aegis of the Department of International Relations and European Integration of the National
University of Political Studies and Public Administration, through the Centre of European Studies
(CES).

Participation in the workshop was free, all attendees being granted a certificate of
participation to this international event.
